Skin Care Treatments
Dr. Kesarwani and our trained medical aestheticians will help evaluate your skin and can help determine the right home skin care program for you as well as recommend services that will help you achieve your goals.
The face is the most exposed part of the body, susceptible to the harsh rays of the sun, acne, rashes, allergic reactions, and scars.
A number of non-surgical treatments are available to eliminate or soften facial imperfections to achieve a clearer, fresher look. Glycolic acids, natural fruit substances blended into facial preparations, can be used to eliminate rough or dry surface skin. Retin-A, a vitamin A-enriched cream that changes the cellular metabolism of the skin's surface is used to combat fine facial wrinkles and sun damage.
Each of these treatments can be used alone, or in conjunction with another aesthetic surgery procedure, such as a facelift or a chemical peel.Chemical Peels
Chemical peels improve the texture of the skin by removing damaged outer layers. This procedure works well for those with acne, wrinkles and uneven skin pigmentation and can also remove pre-cancerous skin growths and soften acne facial scars.

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a popular technique that helps repair facial skin that has extensive sun damage and helps minimize the effects of aging. A tool similar to a fine sandblaster is used to spray tiny crystals across the face, combining gentle abrasion with suction to remove the dead, outer layer of skin.

Fillers
Our faces begin to show the effects of gravity, sun exposure and years of facial muscle movement, such as smiling and squinting, as we age. Underlying tissues that keep skin looking youthful start to break down leaving laugh and smile lines or facial creases.
Soft-tissue fillers, including Restalyne, Perlane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Artecol, Evolence and Teosyl can help fill in these lines and creases, temporarily restoring a smoother, more youthful appearance.
Botox
Many lines, wrinkles and signs of facial aging are caused by repeated action of muscles that contract during facial expressions such as frowning or squinting. Botox is an injectable substance that will temporarily weaken the muscles it is injected into, allowing the overlying line or wrinkle to soften or even disappear.
Revolumizers
Sculptra is a new lasting treatment that restores and corrects signs of facial fat loss. Dr. Kesarwani is one of the few plastic surgeons across the country involved in a clinical study to document Sculptra as an aesthetic filler.
