Many women wear a padded bra but are not interested in breast implants. They want to enhance the size or shape of their chest, and this can now be done reliably using your own fat, getting a liposuction of unwanted fatty areas at the same time. Dr Kesarwani has been a pioneer in Toronto fat graft procedures.
Breast augmentation is one of the most common procedures performed by Dr. Kesarwani. Breast enlargement or augmentation is a procedure designed to enlarge a woman's breasts. The typical breast enlargement procedure can help make the breasts proportionate to the body, even out breasts that are different in size or shape and can enlarge and reshape breasts that have lost their fullness due to weight loss, pregnancy, breast feeding or age. This procedure uses breast implants made of silicone shells filled with either cohesive silicone gel or saline, a salt-water solution.
Aging or having children can cause the breasts to sag or lose volume. Reshaping the breasts with a lift can restore or create a more attractive, youthful breast in a size more proportionate to the rest of the body.
Most often performed on women, breast reduction or reduction mammoplasty can lift and reshape your breasts while eliminating excess weight and bulk. The breast reduction procedure involves reducing the breast size by removing fat, skin and tissue making them smaller, lighter and firmer. It can also reduce the size of the areola, the darker skin surrounding the nipple.
In some women, breast size discrepancy can be very noticeable. A woman's breasts can be different not only in size but also in shape and nipple position.
Breast asymmetry is best improved with the correction of both breast size and shape. If breast size and shape are different, it will be more difficult though because different procedures will often have to be used for each breast.
The deformity resulting from a mastectomy or lumpectomy for treatment of cancer can be corrected through breast reconstruction. This specialized area of breast surgery can include using a breast implant or other techniques involving utilization of your own tissues.
Male breast reduction or gynecosmastia is also very commonly performed. During this procedure, fat and glandular tissue is removed either surgically, with liposuction, or by using a combination of excision and liposuction. Incisions around the areola are barely noticeable resulting in a flatter breast and a smoother chest contour.
